More information is below:

WeatherFest – Sun Jan 22nd 12:00 – 4:00 pm – Demonstration Table

The American Meteorological Society is hosting its annual meeting in Seattle this year at the downtown convention center!  We have been accepted as a joint venture between UW AMS an UWAtmos Outreach to host a booth in their science expo.  There is no fee or registration required for volunteers or the general public.  We plan on giving demos using our new IR camera and some of our classic weather demonstrations.  Since it’s 4 hours long, there will be volunteer shifts about 1-hour long if we have enough people, but feel free to stick around and enjoy the exhibit hall!  There will be a training session for all the demos involved sometime in the week before the event.

— DEADLINE for response: Fri Jan 13th

— many volunteers requested
