Southeastern Coastal and Atmospheric Processes Symposium (SeCAPS) is a professional conference focusing on topics in atmospheric and earth sciences as well as other related fields. Undergraduate meteorology students at The University of South Alabama (USA) work closely with their SeCAPS faculty advisor in planning and executing the conference.
Students are invited to attend and/or present at the 14th annual SeCAPS held on Friday–Saturday, February 10-11, 2017. Our keynote speakers are Dr. Ed Zipser, Dr. Reed Timmer, Maria Molina Timmer, along with Chris Dyke and Eileen Bundy from the United States Air Force 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron “Hurricane Hunters.”
It only costs $10 to register for SeCAPS (collected on-site upon arrival at the conference), and there is no additional fee to submit an abstract or to present. The registration deadline is January 20 for your name to be included in the program with a final deadline of January 27 otherwise. If you would like to present at SeCAPS, all abstracts must be submitted by January 20.
