This free event is *open to UW First Generation Graduate Students—current Master’s and Doctoral students whose parents or guardians earned less than a Bachelor’s degree. *
Attend to this interactive event to hear insights on how to Fail Forward from members of the UW Resilience Lab, Dr. Anne Browning and Polo DeCano, Doctoral Candidate in Education: How does failure impact us in graduate school? How are failures important to our growth on personal and professional levels? How can failure help us step into future challenges? Connect with fellow first gen grad students and walk away with strategies to fail forward with resilience!
Staff and faculty who identify as former First Gen Graduate Students or who mentor or support First Gen Grad Students are welcome as well!
